Jim Huber, Jr., Vice President of Operations
Jim L. Huber, Jr. was born in 1971 in Olathe, Kansas, the third of three children of Jim Huber, Sr. and Mary Ann Huber. Jim graduated from Saint Thomas Aquinas High School in 1989. After graduating from high school, Jim attended Avila College in Kansas City, Missouri, graduating in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a Minor in Business.
Following completion of his undergraduate degree, Jim was admitted into the Avila MBA program where he earned a Masters of Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing in 1995. While at Avila, Jim was a member of the Avila basketball and baseball programs. After graduating, Jim worked four year as the Assistant Athletic Director at Avila College. During this time, Jim also was the assistant and head men's basketball coach at Avila College.
In 2000, Jim accepted an administrative position in the UMKC Athletics Department, while serving as an assistant coach for the men's basketball program. Jim is presently 32 years of age, engaged and lives in Olathe, Kansas.
